In the depths of the Unknown, there was a single Absol. However, he wasn't like any of the others. His fur was pitch black, and his normally black parts were purest white. He was a loner, captured from his homeland when he was very young.
He lay in the moss on the ground, the springy plant providing a wonderful bed. The mist that swirled aorund kept the Absol cool as he dozed, murmuring random thoughts as he slept. The one he repeated the most was his name: Abusoro.

A lone espeon walked through the forest on silent paws. You wouldn't have known she was there if it wasn't for the ribbon-bell around her neck.

The sound of the bell woke Abusoro up. Wha? Who's there? he called out groggily.

Ami stopped as she heard the voice. She hoped it wasn't one of her brother's minions. She walked closer to where she heard the voice.

Abusoro sighed and stood up. Who's there? he called again. Abusoro, master of The Unknown, commands you to state your name.
If it was someone from around here, they would fall thorugh his trick and walk away. If they didn't... well... he couldn't be bothered to hope.

You caught me. Abusoro said, stepping out of the shadows. I am not the master of The Unknown, because there isn't one. he took one look at Ami and faltered. He had never seen an Espeon before, and it was surprising.

And I am no Master of the Bells. Ami replied giggling. She took one look at Abusoro. He was different. She could tell that by his color. But she was also different. Lao, she thought in her mind. She shook her head to get the thought out of her mind. She was nothing like him. Nothing at all

A calming sound as soft as the wind sounded through the area. The wind responded, blowing gently through the trees. If you looked carefully, really carefully, you could see a gallade sat in a tree. But he blended in well with his surroundings.

I kinda figured that. he responded. Why aren't you running away? Are you not scared of me like everyone else? Or are you just here to give me some sympathy?
He wasn't convinced that Ami wasn't going to hurt him.

I've known others who are pure evil, Ami said. Lao, echoed in her mind. And before my very eyes, my parents were killed, I was almost killed if it wasn't for them. Why Lao? Why?

You can sit down if you want. he said, which was the highest honor he could give at the moment. After all, this patch of moss was all he had.

Thank you, Ami replied. So why are you here by yourself in the Unknown?

It's simple, really. I have no family. he said, and moved over so that Ami could have the more comfortable spot.

I once had a brother, but he is no longer... with us in spirit. Ami said as she scooted a little bit over. And as I said before, my parents were killed. So I travel all over now.
